Andrew advises businesses and business owners on a variety of matters, with a concentration in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, commercial real estate, intellectual property law, and trademark registrations and licensing. He also advises local governments and assists clients with estate planning.
Before joining Clement & Wheatley, Andrew worked for the Danville Circuit Court as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Joseph W. Milam, Jr. and David A. Melesco. Andrew graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review and the Managing Board of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law. He was also a PILA Fellow with the Public Interest Law Association. Before starting law school, Andrew worked as a software engineer for the Cerner Corporation for two years. Andrew completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where he earned a degree in Management Information Systems and Political Science and was the President of FSU Habitat for Humanity.
Andrew currently serves on the Downtown Danville Association Board of Directors and is active in the Virginia Bar Association. Andrew and his wife, Martha, enjoy running and hiking.
