Glenn moved to Danville in 1976 with his wife, Pam, after his graduation from law school with honors. His law practice focuses on civil trial work in all courts, including injury cases, commercial disputes, will contests, employment and construction law. Glenn is active in civic affairs and in his church. He and Pam have sponsored a child from Belarus for many years. They have two grown sons, Carson and Drew, who work for the Pfizer Corporation and National Geographic respectively. Glenn enjoys playing golf, hunting quail, and fishing. Glenn currently serves as a Trustee of Averett University and as vice chairman of the Virginia Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Glenn is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. The American College of Trial Lawyers extends invitations, "after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who," in the opinion of the College, "have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality." The American College of Trial Lawyers limits membership to no more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state.
