Hunter's practice focuses primarily on commercial and civil litigation, including employment law and construction law in Virginia and North Carolina. He has been active in legal associations, serving as President of the Danville Bar Association and on the Virginia State Bar's Standing Committee for the Unauthorized Practice of Law. Hunter has also been active in the local community, serving as an officer for the YMCA Board of Directors, a past director of the Salvation Army, and is a former adjunct faculty member of Averett University's graduate and undergraduate programs. Hunter also volunteers his time with local youth leagues.
