Our History
Our law firm was founded in 1936 and bears the name of Rutledge C. Clement and C. Stuart Wheatley. These two attorneys built a strong foundation by serving Danville in the various areas of law that arose in the community.
We are still committed to handling a wide range of legal services, from litigation, business law, and litigation, to trusts, estate and tax matters. Our team members have held many leadership positions in the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Bar Association, as well as other important organizations dedicated to advancing and strengthening the profession and our communities.
