Clement & Wheatley usually recruits its new associates from participants in its summer associate program. This six-week program, which consists of weekly rotations among the various practice groups in our firm, affords the summer associate the opportunity to work with everyone and to be exposed to a variety of legal practice areas.
Law students may apply to the summer associate program by submitting a resume and transcript to their law school placement office during the early fall of their second year. Based on these submissions and on-campus interviews, a select number of applicants will be then invited for an office visit to our firm. Law students who attend a law school at which Clement & Wheatley does not participate in on-campus interviewing may still submit applications through the firm's recruitment coordinator.
